Amanda Cabiedes

was born in 1981 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where from a very young age she developed a language to express her art based in color and music.

She attended university as a visual arts major and has continued her education by studying with masters such as Juan Carlos Manjarrez.

Her first solo exhibition titled, Impossible Dreams, was at the age of 15 while at preparatory school in Jalisco, Mexico.

Her most notable exhibitions include:

  • 2011 group exhibition – “You color” in Manhattan, NYC.
  • 2011 solo exhibition – “Nothing Else Matters” Municipal Palace Guadalajara,
  • 2017 solo exhibition – “Circus” Antigua Presidencia Chapala, Jalisco.
  • 2018 solo exhibition – “Flesh and Blood” Old Chapala railway station, Jalisco.
  • 2023 solo exhibition – “Fleeting Fantasies” Antigua Presidencia Chapala, Jalisco.

Her work reflects a deeply personal interpretation of life around her.

She currently lives in Guadalajara, Mexico where she continues to develop her individual style.
