Biography

Enrique Gordiano Avila
Began painting in 1997 with his father and brother. He used tree bark as his first canvases and painted landscapes. As the years progressed he began painting neighborhoods and market towns. As his interests grown he parted ways with his father and brother and begin to follow his passion on his own.

Avila is a self taught artists as his family had no funds for art education. He enjoys exploring and studying color, shadows and light and often seeks the advice and opinions of more experienced painters.

He is from Guadalajara, Jalisco.
